Several times since I began my page I have received either private or public messages that what I post isn't art. That nudity by it's very existence is pornographic. I disrespectfully disagree. Personally I find it distasteful that if you take and share images of a bloody street in Paris before bodies have been buried your being talked abut as if you should win a prize for you "unique" and "bold" art work, however take a shot of a naked woman or god forbid a man and suddenly your a pornographer.
Now I'm not going to pretend to be fucking Picaso here but I do put a lot of work into what I post and no it isn't done for someone's wank collection. It's here because I believe it should be shared and enjoyed by others. And I am by no means alone in this. No doubt anyone who post similar content to my own has gotten these messages. Models are repeated hounded by people who see a naked body and assume that means lewd and sexual comments are welcome.
NicoleNudes ChaosFay and lovelizzie in particular seem to get these people around and while they always seem to handle it with style and grace I cannot muster, it still makes me angry that even in this day and age nudity still has that "taboo" tag upon it.
Ok I'll get off my soapbox now but man does that piss me off. I swear it's like most of the internet turn into jibbering 12 year olds when they see a naked person.
